| Our firm collaborates to the realization of a germplasm collection of Wisteria
at Ce.Spe.Vi. the Nurseries Experimental Station of Pistoia (Italy). Currently there are around
30 varieties but every year new Wisterias are added. The purpose of this collection, besides collect together the greatest possible
number, it is to put order to the nomenclature of the Wisterias, although the presence of numerous synonyms and wrong attributions make
this operation quite complicated. The doubtful varieties can be put directly in comparison with those listed in order to verify the
authenticity. There is also a pictures data-base of the collection. |
