Wisteria sinensis 'Amethyst'

A splendid variety recently introduced from New Zealand.
Very strong, bright, violet or deep purple coloured flowers. Scented.
Long clustered bunches, 20/30cm in length.
Precocious flowering, the juvenile leaves have an intense, bronze, colour above all in summer. Re-flourishing in June / July.
It begins to bloom during the 1st or 2nd year.
